How about I just watch the game and see what everyone else saw. Its stupid to expect the D to be worth a damn this year, after how last year played out. Anyone who expects us to win a game b/c we score more than 30 points is a retard. Our D isn't good enough to keep good teams under 30 points. Hell USC was supposed to be a cake walk.

Anyway, the D made a stop in the 4th quarter when they NEEDED it. The offense had the ball on the 4 yard line, we get no points to tie or take the lead. Yeah the blame for that goes on the offense, and Bobo. But yes, lets blame the D for us losing.

That's precisely where it belongs. Our O had what - 400+ yards and 35 points? Thats enough to win most games, yet they had to more than carry the D. But if you want to blame it on the O, then what? SC had the box stacked. Look at this: what if (yes we have to say "what if" because it is done), we had tried and not been able to run it in - then what? Kick the FG? So....

I think if we weren't UGA fans, we wouldn't give a flying frick when we shite the bed once or twice a year. Every year, the same story. Bobo screws up the play calling again, just like he does almost every game, but this time it really costs us the game.

Every time a team loses this is pretty much what is said. Remember the Iron Bowl ast year? How could Saban NOT prepare for a un back when he is kicking a long field goal after not hitting on oher field goals all game long. It happens. Coaches make mistakes....ALL the time. Even when a team wins coaches make mistakes. You just don't care or notice as much when the team wins.

quote:

Bobo shite the bed along with Mason. 1st and goal from the 4 yard line, you have the best RB in the nation, you run the ball 3 straight times, and kick a field goal if you gotta. Instead, Bobo tries to get fancy and it fricks us, yet again.

Yes and no. SC was stacking the box and stopping the run. AND, in that particular situation you had to figure they would do that again. Perfect time to throw a pass. It should be wide open. Mason, unfortunately threw the Intentional Grounding istead of out of the end zone. However, Morgan missed a 29 yard field goal. (Or something like 29 yards) That is a chip shot. Lots of pressure...wet field...wet ball...still should have been a tie game at worse.

quote:

Mason might know the playbook better, but damn it sure doesn't look like it. He looks rattled, nervous, gun shy and is playing like a freshman instead of 5th yr senior.

I disagree. Not sure which of us is right, though.

Based upon what? Their A&M game? Totally different offense and matchups. Same for thir second game.

Based on our game with Clemson? See above. We HAVE to stop drawing conclusions about a team based upon what they do in one week. Georgia will be fine and I think we still have an excellent chance to win 10-11 games. We can also lose 3-4 games. But so could Florida, South carolina, LSU, Alabama, and A&M. We ALL have weaknesses.

Not only that...but the reason he threw it was because somebody missed their block and he had a defender in his face....so its the blockers fault....

...and on and on and on.....

...truth of the matter was that we weren't ready to play a SC team that clearly wanted it more than we did. They found a way to rise up and play above their expectations....and as usual in SC we played below ours.

They won we lost.....trying to blame any individual is pointless.

Just because we didn't expect them to be great doesn't mean they don't deserve any blame. We scored 35 points. That should be enough to win the game, plain and simple.

I think most posters on this board care deeply about this program and it's success. But let's face facts, UGA is the most underachieving program in the SEC and one of the most in all of college football. The BCS era has come and gone with championships won by AU, UT, LSU (2), UF (2), Bama (3). If USCe had won it , the SEC circle around our state would be complete. And which state is one of the most prolific HS hotbeds in the US? The one left out of the afore-mentioned list.

Just because we question the direction of the program doesn't mean we aren't passionate, just the opposite. We love it too much to see it continue to underachieve.

UGA, yet again, just shite the bed vs a team they should have handled. It happens. But it happens with such regularity here that fans have come to expect it. Deep down I knew USCe would win Sat and, as I stood in the stands getting soaked along with my brethren. My only question was how we'd lose it. That has to change.

Also, nicely stated. Up-vote.

I read the board daily, just most of the stuff outside of the informational post is criticizing the team and the coaches and as far as I know they have a little bit better clue as to what is going on than I do inside the program so I don't criticize them. I try to be a fan not a critic, theres a difference!

I have always been a UGA fan and have never pulled for another team. UGA has some of the best facilities in the nation and is the flagship university inside a very fertile recruiting state. I call out coaches that make stupid calls and I do it every year for the annual (Mark Richt Bedshittin), it's like Christmas, you know it's coming but who gets what fricking gift. This Saturday one of the most hated people in the state of Georgia was gifted a win by Marky's bedshitting. Richt, Bobo and Pruitt all deserve everything that they are getting. A poorly called game with a very talent laden football team. It's bullshite and I call all of them out. A better coach would have beat the Shamecocks by two touchdowns, Bottom line.

Just to be giving shite but...

Of everything to brag about... lol. Dude, that's not impressive. It's a 10 hour roundtrip for some of us. We'll be doing that in one day. Leaving at 5 and getting back at 9 or 10.

As I have always said. I would rather be a Dawg with no wins, than an undefeated Gator, Toilet Paper Roll, Barn Boy or any of the others. Class, beautiful women, wonderful town, quality education, and did I say Class.

Go Dawgs!

So here we are once again as UGA fans...The Dawgs blew yet another big game.

The ever present Fire Mark Richt vs. Canonize Mark Richt argument is in full throat.

A couple things...

1. Mark Richt is a transient. He is currently employed in the capacity of Head Ball Coach. "Georgia" is not his team - "Georgia" is not him. There is a reason why coaches don't recieve medals in The Olympics. Not supporting Obama is not the same as not supporting your country.

2. "Georgia" belongs - 1st off to the tax payers of Georgia and These United States, 2nd to current and former students, lastly to former and present football players. Why players last? Because they didn't pay for it. Same reason why films belong to the studios that made them and Producers receive the best picture Oscar, not actors not directors.

3. There are 6 billion and counting people on earth, to assume Mark Richt is the best Man for the Job is a staggering leap of faith. It is not any Georgia fan's job to figure out who that person is, that's McGarity's job. I think it is intuitively obvious to even the casual observer that GM is being ran into the ground again. I don't need to be able to pick the best next CEO of GM for the self evident to be so.

The negabus has been kinda empty with only random rookie posters coming out and shitting all over it. I mean we just got this fricker paid off and they wanna come in and smear their effluence all over it. fricking hethens. Negadawgism isn't a reaction it's a way of life taught to us by Larry Munson and perpetuated by misfortune and alcohol.
