Do you understand our needs? That is so cool.
I mean, I think UF is the only team in this conference that could legitimately claim they NEEDED to play a cupcake yesterday. Everyone else should feel ashamed

I don't think you understand the meaning of rustled.

1. I understand the need for cupcakes, but all these shitty games should NOT be on the same Saturday. You can't draw conclusions from these games because the competition is so bad.
This will never change; Week 2 will always be the most drek of drek weeks for multiple reasons; it is the week before widespread SEC play begins; game 2 is traditionally considered the week during which you see the most improvement-- and even bad teams, psychologically, are not going to want fans and players both jumping off the wagon before mid-September; for those teams who play in feature/intersectional high profile season openers, it is a breather and regrouping time; for the teams that draw conference foes in week 1, it is a chance to get a sure home game or rebound from starting the season with a loss; as most of the rest of the country is eyeball deep in playing OOC games his week, it isn't like there is a deep pool of opponents from which to draw top competition available.
Week 2 is always the heart of garbage season, and it always will be.

Oh look it's a bandwagon Auburn fan that isn't bright enough to realize that Gus wasn't your typical first year coach at a school. So special.
I bet you were one of the many people saying that Auburn was a 7 win team, at best, before last season.

Saturday observations
1. Oregon looks like the best team so far. They owned a very good Michigan St. team in the 2nd half. They have NFL size on the DL and great speed on the outside. With veteran Mariota back for his Senior year, they are going to be hard to beat.
2. Bud Foster might well be the best DC in college football. Play tight coverage, sure tacking and blitz from every possible direction for the winz.
3. James Franklin raped Vandy leaving them in much worse shape than when he got there. frick that guy.
4. And yea, the SEC didn't do themselves any favors having zero interesting SEC games this week.

I mean even the most optimistic of Auburn fans didn't expect you guys to win the SEC last year.
I think most people had around 7-5/8-4 and expected you guys to compete this year or next.

Because Vandy fans around the Nashville metro area are so used to winning football
It'd be one thing if they were playing like they did under Bobby Johnson, but this is uncharted territory in terrible. They are the worst FBS team IMO.

That coach is in way over is head and will be gone within two years.
We'll get back to you once you've played a conference game.

Vandy just needs to replace Karl Dorrell. It is a hire destined to fail with him running the offense.
This.

My observation: South Carolina is a mediocre team but will play like Gods against UGA on Saturday
If we can knock of UGA that could propel us to 6 straight wins until we have to go to AU.

Vandy's shocking lack of competence has been an eye opener. I can't believe Franklin left the cupboard that bare. It being Vandy, he'll get at least two years but things better improve somewhat. They don't look like a div I team much less an SEC team.
Having said that, OM looked pretty impressive.

Well pretty sure all the really good players left after last season and then Franklin took all the good commits that he had bothered to recruit, knowing that he would be leaving after last year. Franklin knew what was coming which is why he got out while the getting was good.
