38-7 at halftime

This isn't Furman or Chattanooga.

San Jose St. won't roll over. They beat an 8 win Colorado St. team last year and an 8 win UNLV. They held their own against Stanford for the majority of 3 qtrs, but eventially fell 34-14.

In 2012 San Jose went 11-2 losing to Stanford 20-17.

We should win convincingly but with our defense I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the game for at least 2 or 3 qtrs.

I think we might go over just because I doubt we'll slow up on offense until the mid 4th quarter or so. I definitely think we'll cover.

They'll let Marshall throw the ball a good bit in the first half, and if he does well, we'll score quickly and a lot. Put JJ in for the second half and we'll run the ball a ton with Barber and Thomas and let him work on his reads for the option, then let Wallace come in and clean up in the 4th quarter. I can see us scoring 35 in the first half and maybe 21 or so in the second. They may score 14-20ish. San Jose St likes to play fast too, so if we can get them on some 3 and outs and get the ball right back, there will be a lot of chances to score.

That was the results of last years FAU game. D1 school. Did you not read the sentence before the numbers?

FAU finished 6-6 last year same as SJSU. Lost close ones to 10 win Rice, 8 win MTSU, & 10 win Marshall. Beat USF, 7 win Tulane.

Why do people always cherry pick certain games to try and make a point?

They also got smoked by Minnesota 43-24, Utah State 40-12 (23-6 @ half), squeezed out a win over Wyoming (who put up 599 yards of offense on the Spartans and led for 3/4's of the game), and lost by 20+ points to a 4 win Nevada team (SJSU trailed the entire game, averaged 1.9 ypc, and was 30% on 3rd downs).

Oh yeah, and Navy ran for 478 yards on them at 7 yards a pop. Their best performance of the year.

In 2012 Auburn went 3-9 and didn't win an SEC game, including a 17 point loss to John L. Smith and squeaked by LaMO.
