I went to Houston this weekend to a stadium that sold enough beer in the crowd to have one in both hands. Why not SEC Stadiums and don't tell me about the family atmosphere

Beer.
Went to Shreveport to watch AGS vs La Tech in 2012. They were selling beer by the case. No joke.
Saw people walking up with full cases of beer into the stands. Game went from 8pm until after 12:30am. More than a few people got a bit out of hand.

They sell beer at the UNLV games here in Vegas, but you kind of need some drinks to deal with the football.

There are too many PTB to pass it. I hate it. I would go to more games if they sold beer. He'll they can quit selling at the end of the third quarter.

I have been to pro games for years that sold beer and never thought anything about it. Also for years I did not realize there was no rule against it in NCAA so I did not question it not being there. In these money hungry times where they want us to pay to park and for everything else I cannot believe they are turning their nose up at selling alcohol or beer. People at Reliant were shucking out the money at those concession stands and mostly for beer.

So I can pay 8 bucks for a beer? I'll continue to drink beforehand

Weren't there 300+ arrests in the stadium in houston? Weren't most of those arrests due to drunken obnoxious trashy lsu fans fighting each other?

That's your option even if they do sell beer... and it was not that expensive but no it was not cheap. Hell I think I spent $50 on beer for the day counting outside stadium party.

The gump is correct. The 8pm kickoff after drinking since noon or before did not fare well. I didn't have any problems in my section, but there were others that did. They stopped selling beer at halftime due to the "disturbances"

Why would I pay for an overpriced beer when I can sneak in some Woodford under my crotch?

Why would you pay $8 for a Bud Light?

Selling alcohol is awesome at football games. Favourite part of the summer is relaxing outside, watching football and enjoying a bevy or two
