So you're saying you'd take Jennings/Dural/(insert a young WR) over three NFL players in Mett/OBJ3/Landry?

I think the players we have now will play better against Ole Miss than the players we had last year did.

"Co-Western Divisions SEC Champions 2003"

I was at Eli's last game in Oxford. Didn't look like they won that game. Didn't he fall down or something? I'm old and memory fades sometimes

Oh, and didn't the other "CO-Champion" go to the SECCG AND the NCG AND win? I could be wrong though, being OLD and all!

There's a thought that I guarantee no other sports fan in any sports in history has every thought.

Really? Mettenberger threw 3 interceptions and had a 33.2 QBR.....and no "sports fan in history" should think LSU would get better QB play against Ole Miss this year?

Ole Miss will be limping into Tiger Stadium by the time that game gets around.

Book it

I think the directional school from Lafayette is going to give Freeze all he wants and then some. I'm worried about Hud and his Louisiana team to be honest

As was stated in an earlier post, he is one heck of a coach and has recruited very well there in Lafayette. I predict OM will win but don't be surprised if those guys give OM all they want. With less of a team than they have now, they very nearly beat Florida two years ago.

Just like our whole first string defense was limping into Vaught-Hemingway last season?

Lol.

Who is y'alls third string QB? Nkemdiche is going to murder Jennings and Harris.

I just don't see the relevance here or why it's worth arguing. Sure Ole Miss will beat some SEC top tier programs sometimes. Until they do something relevant like win a National Championship or even an SEC Championship in the modern era, they are still a second tier SEC program.

I will take an Alabama fan over Ole Miss fans any day! At least their arrogance is based on being a perennial National Power and NATONAL championships, not beating A tier one SEC program sometimes. Yea us Tiger fans are arrogant too but we have the skins on the wall to back it up as well.

And that has what to do with my original post?

Two different teams

And your schedule is brutal....but whatever helps you sleep

We limped into the OM/LSU game last season and beat y'all...duh?

Incorrect. Same Ole Miss team, worse LSU team.

Probably our easiest schedule in awhile.

Ritter's FG against LSU usually helps...or rain.

Maybe we shouldn't take a page out of the Bret Bielema PR Handbook and start trash talking before we win anything.
