I'm flying to Vegas for the weekend from Atl after the game on Friday. Terrible mistakes will probably occur if we lose that game.

Snead wasn't a bad quarterback. He won us some big games and gave us some good memories. Just didn't have the coaching to make him a better developed quarterback.

And that 2009 season, he had no help with that offensive line. He stayed in pressure.

I was a big Snead fan. I honestly believe no one, deep down, truly believes Snead was a bad QB...I think people just hate him for various reasons...and it's hard to blame them. He was out on the Square many of Thursday nights before games getting slammed. As fans/Alumni, we were putting our time and money into him and the rest of the team. Hard to cheer on a guy that can't chill out at least three months out of the year.

Snead did well for us. I mean, BACK-TO-BACK CAWTEN BOWLS. NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE.

I think he saw the fall coming and bolted while he had some kind of stock. I don't blame him at all. There was a lot of tension between Kent Austin and Houston Nutt. When Austin left, Snead wasn't far behind.

Snead stayed another year and it cost him 10s of millions of dollars... He threw 20 GD picks his final season.

Honestly, losing this one would not be that big of a deal.

wat

What I am saying is that it is a non conference game at the beginning of the season. If you told me we had to lose 3 games this year and asked me to pick which ones, I would pick this one for sure as one of my 3.

Thats all.

I would rather start the season L-W, than W-L. So there's that. frick Vandy. I want to beat those arse clowns worse way worse than Boise.

Dude, he led college football in interceptions in 2009.

Multi-interception games for Snead in 2009
at Memphis - 2
at Vanderbilt - 3
v. Alabama - 4
v. Arkansas - 2
at Auburn - 2
at Mississippi State - 3
v. Oklahoma State - 3

Seriously, that dude fricking sucked dick.

He had 10 TDs to 15 INTs in SEC play in 2009.

Dude sucked.

He had absolutely no help from the coaching staff. Literally no help. Nutt and Austin both refused to help him when Snead begged them to. Yeah...he was a bit of a headcase....but it doesn't help when you have to figure out how to read defenses and mechanics by yourself. And his OLine also sucked in 2009.

How many interceptions did Eli throw last season?

27.

Eli sucks too.

Eli, much like Snead, has benefited immensely from two four-game hot streaks in 2007 and 2011.
