Not such a nice campus and a horrible stadium

Yeah, the stadium issue should be fixed, at least by next year, but most of the buildings on campus were apparently designed w/ a "Soviet functionality" aesthetic.

Nice try. But that photo is omitting half of the other flags and its entire purpose

Us Texans pride ourselves that 6 different nations have tried to claim the great lone star state, which is why we have 6 flags over Texas.

Tried to claim? Texas asked for admission into the US and was denied for years.

And yes, AL does the same thing. It's a clever way of flying the CSA flag without catching any flak. Which of course, in turn, means recognizing the CSA as a nation.. which the US of course did not do.

This is just a poor effort. You're actually making your "Texas isn't hot or humid" posts look good in comparison.

Doesnt matter. We dont fly it to honor the CSA. We do it to fill our ego.

I have no problem with the flying of the flag, theGarnetWay.
It's part of our history--not unlike the other flags flown adjacent to it.

Per the norm, this has become an odd thread.

but the difference in the south carolina state house and the dead dog area is that one pays homage to holders of honorable and respected positions, and the other will be the site of a texas aggie yell practice on 8/28.

Yes it has, once again, thanks to one of your homies, #grewupinthe Projectspat, making it a racism issue once again.
