Mine is of my cousin Ricky who recently passed away of a heart attack. Yeah he was a dawg, but his passion for his school was something to be envied and I will dearly miss him.

OK, guess I will play along. My avi is the gravestone of my 5th great-grandfather (1760-1836).
He was born in Germany, came to the US and settled in Virginia. During the Revolution he and his brother went with George Rogers Clark during the Illinois Campaign and helped capture the northwest territory. He was granted land in what is now Indiana as a bounty for being a soldier. He moved his family there and they were one of the first "American" settlers of what is now Knox County, Indiana.
