bdv didn't get booted. He booted himself in Week 1 by not following the simple instructions. aka SUicide.
Regardless, he already enlisted this year before the cut-off.

That was classic.
I saw in the bowl games and the MNC last year, though, where they've started using coins with each team's name on one side of the coin.
The visiting team Captain doesn't even get to choose 'heads or tails'. The ref just flips it on his own and tells them which team won the toss by way of their team name landing facing up.
Total short-sighted can't-leave-well-enough-alone fricking bullshite, right there. The busy-bodies will never rest.
