You aren't even the best team in your state.
I've seen threads comparing Nkrndiche to JJ Watt and Treadwell to Moss. Threads about being the 4th best team in the SEC. Hell I've even read threads about your squad making a run Atlanta (hilarious).
I realize that y'all beat a bad LSU team last year, but what exactly is whipping you tards into such a frenzy this go around?

I think everyone just recognizes that we'll be competitive again.

You do realize all those articles are written by unbiased "experts", not OM fans. We know we are better than the 8 win team we had last year, thus we are expecting 8-9 regular season wins. So is everyone else. Why are you so rustled?

You know just the reasons that anyone would think that a team would improve.
We have the second most returning starters in the SEC (behind MS State)
We have the SEC's only returning First Team all American in FS Cody Prewitt.
We have a QB returning for his third year starting in the SEC.
We have a solid coaching staff who took a team coming off the worst season in our school history to a bowl game in their first year, to 8-5 last year, while doing a very good job of recruiting.
The conference as a whole is down.
We have a manageable schedule.
Please stop me if any of this sounds unreasonable to you.

Just bc we lost to a superior Mizzou team last year doesn't mean we won't be good this year.

Just because we lost the Egg Bowl doesn't mean we weren't better overall last season. And this season, everyone is ranking us ahead of MSU. Ole Miss > MSU, regardless of one poorly-played game last year.

OM has been trending upward but really, I've seen more experts predict success than OM fans. OM fans have been cautiously optimistic and for good damn reason.
