I get the same worries. Mason and Prosch cannot be replaced. If we pull it off this year, it will be because of the passing game and then everyone will have to acknowledge the genius of Gus.

I worry on defense about the loss of Ford's infectious spark. After the A&M game last year he said "we coming" and said something about playing for the national title and I was sitting there saying whoa, pump the brakes dude. Do we have a guy like that on the team?

Nothing against you personally... but not one single person on this board would have bought this a year ago. I defended Mason a lot after the 2012 year against a lot of people that gave him shite. Hell, after he missed the spring, most here thought CAP would carry the load last year. Some even wanted him moved to the speed-back role.

So before we throw out this "can't be replaced" thing, why don't we actually see what happens on the field first.

This is nothing against those players, but we've been recruiting with the best of them for the past 4 years. So if Gus really is a great coach, we shouldn't see a drop off.
