If any Texas fans are reading this, let this sink in. Vanderbilt will get more exposure nationwide than Texas will this season.
Not a fan of being the troll bait, but that's okay when we can finally get some exposure for more than having a coach with the audacity to claim we will compete. Poor t.u. (am I doing it right?)

Thank you for your support Pioneer. Its weird the way things have changed. Back in the Big 12 they ignored us, thinking we weren't worthy of being on their doorstep. Now that we left, they are pissed we didn't want to live on a doorstep. Case in point, here is a quote from that thread:
Many sips feel that way. They feel A&M should have just accepted being the shite on underdog forever to maintain Texas purity or some BS.
quote:
Those aggy pukes turned their backs on their brethren and invited the devil into our great state. They couldn't get it done on the field, so they had to try to latch on to a supposed "super conference" to make up the gap. $#@! that. We're Texans first; longhorns and aggies second. Enemies on the football field, but friends and colleagues off it. Now, I can't look at any aggy without reflexive contempt. They have cheated us out of a cool annual tradition, one that I looked forward to and enjoyed every year. So I say $#@! 'em. Expose their asses. Draw a line around Collie Station and fence it off. Call it East Louisibama or whatever in the $#@!. They're dead to me.

This is fact not fiction, so all the talk of the Buffs to the PAC forgets it was Big Red started the dam bursting in the Big 12.
Technically, it was Missouri flirting with the Big 10 that caused Beebe to get the "are you in or out" answer...at which point, Nebraska said "we're out".

Shouldn't it be west Louisiana and west Alabama?

I thought it was "just a sliver up the east side of Texas."

Technically it was some Nebraska folks meeting some B1G folks playing golf together during the bowl season in 2009 and 2010 that got this round of realignment going. When the Blair Report leaked in 2009 the 2 names not on it were Nebraska and Notre Dame. This was because the B1G had already decided on these two and the Blair Report was to vet the next schools should they go all the way to 16.

What a SHOCK.
Just checked WatchESPN.
Anyone care to guess what the Longhorn Network is airing right at the launch of the SEC Network?

Geography must not be offered in austin
East Texas is smack in the territory of Arkansas, LSU, and TAMU to raid. In the tri cities maybe San Antonio can stay immune from the SEC but Dallas and Houston are just too close to the SEC to not feel the pull.
Texarkana to Dallas is about 2.5 hours
Lake Charles to Houston is about 2.0 hours
College Station is already in eats TX.

Of course they would show that one. It's the ONLY time they beat Jackie Sherrill while he was A&M's coach.
