LSU has 6 or 7 guys that inexplicably aren't in the CFBHOF for some unknown reason and looking at the list it seems like a lot of SEC schools are lagging behind. Even Alabama, who has 20. That may sound like a lot but Notre Dame has FOURTY FOUR inductees. Yale and Army have 24, Princeton has 21 and Navy has 20. I know those teams were real good way back in the day but come on, they haven't done anything for 50-60 years at least. More like 70-80 years for the ivies.

Tennessee and Bama are the only 2 SEC schools even in the top TWENTY in terms of enshrines. Considering we have 6 of the top 12 or 13 best programs in college football history this is beyond ridiculous.

It's in Atlanta now & times are a changing so that wrong will be righted in the long haul...

ETA:... Can't believe the B1G let us move it to the South without a fight. Atlanta has apparently become the center of the CFB world...

A result of biased Yankee opinions and voting back in the day. (See CFB final polls of '66.)

For most of the 20th century Southern teams were ignored and actively discriminated against when it came to national polls and awards, mostly in favor or northeastern type teams.

Heck it still continued into recent times, look no further than the Charles Woodson/Peyton Manning Heisman crap.

It's really only within the past 15-20 years the SEC has gotten a fair shake and the SEC had to earn it by domination.

The fact that Derrick Thomas was just inducted into the CFBHOF should tell you that it is a joke.
