Is Greg McElroy the worst QB to win a crystal football? Watching the replay now. Pretty bad QB play there all seaon minus SEC Championship Game.

I hate tOSU, but their D and M. Clarrett were incredible that year.

Pretty sure he had some broken ribs going into the BCSNCG.

I'm just looking at Julio thinking what kind of stats he could have had, given a real passer.

With all due respect, his stats were pedestrian at best. With possibly the best wr of the era.

McElroy did have broken ribs and shouldn't have even played. McElroy passed for close to 3000 yards in 2010 and Julio had 1000 yards receiving. Not too bad, but they didn't win anything of significance other than a beat down of Michigan state that showed how good they could've been in 2010 if they played they're best all year.

They didn't win a title that year. Read the title.

McElroy was three times the quarterback Jay Barker was back in the 92 Sugar. Barker was a fine QB his senior year, but in 92 he was atrocious.

Jay's numbers in the Miami beatdown? 4 for 13 with 2 interceptions and 18 yards.
