I mean probably but Ken Dorsey had a similar- guy lucky enough to lead a team of studs-- thing going, what about Krenzel or Mauk?

With all due respect, his stats were pedestrian at best. With possibly the best wr of the era.
I don't think Julio was ever even the best WR in the SEC-- Percy was there his freshman year, and after that Green would be my choice (less explosive but better every play guy).

McElroy did have broken ribs and shouldn't have even played. McElroy passed for close to 3000 yards in 2010 and Julio had 1000 yards receiving. Not too bad, but they didn't win anything of significance other than a beat down of Michigan state that showed how good they could've been in 2010 if they played injury free all year.

Flynn in 07 threw almost three times as many ints as McElroy in 09

Yeah I was crossing my years on McElroy.
It's an unpopular opinion but I always thought Flynn was worse than Mauck, though Mauck had a better supporting cast.
