Would Florida be open to starting an OOC series against Auburn?

Is there even a mechanism to make this happen?
We rarely see one of our biggest rivals anymore.

This is why I want 10 SEC games. With a 6-2-2, you would see everyone h&h within like 4 years. Plus it allows If and AU to play every year.

We're talking more permanent cross division rivals here?? LSU gets UF and UGA, Bama gets UT and UK??

The sec schedule is a steaming pile of shite. You should be allowed to schedule Florida ooc if you want.

Better than getting UK like we did. Though, I would think, USC or Mizzou is more likely for us than UGA.

I think you can. SEC allows it in other sports. IIRC. Doesn't Auburn play Bama OOC in baseball. Same with a midweek OOC egg bowl.

UT and Vandy... UK has a chance to be good ever now and then and we cant be having none of that shite of our schedule..

Just feel 6-2-2 would be easier to schedule. It would only be 6 years I think for a h&h with the East. And it does allow Auburn to revive their rivalry.

Yeah I know it happens in baseball from time to time. But mid week baseball games don't really mean anything.

I like the Idea of the 6-1-3 allowing a four year player to play in every sec school during his career.

This I agree with, but I was only saying there was nothing stopping them.
If they did, would we have to stop joking on UF never leaving FL for OOC games?

We need a 3-5.
No divisions. Three permanents so we keep rivalries, and then 5 rotating opponents each year. In four years everyone has played everyone home and away, and we get to keep our rivalries. There is no downside other than a potential rematch one week later in the SECCG, but that's hardly a downside as it'd probably be a good game.

I'd rather we start playing Miami again.

As an LSU fan, I am fine with a 6-1-3, since outside of UF there is nothing resembling a rivalry with anyone else in the East.

But Auburn is a huge rival for y'all?

quote:No. That question was raised when the schedule rotation was announced. SEC has said it will not allow member teams to play each other as an OOC game in football.

The other downside is the possibility of having to break a two way tie between teams that did not play to determine who would go to Atlanta.
It may be worth it for a better schedule, though.

I have a hard time getting behind something that gets rid of divisions it's not a bad idea though.
