I havent been to many campuses in the SEC. I have been to UGA's and Auburns. Which campus is the most impressive for new recruits out of all the SEC schools. Does this have a big effect on which school recruits choose?

UGA is the nicest until Athens PD shows up and arrests everyone.

I'm pretty sure everyone is going to claim their own.

Mizzou's quad is one of the more historic places I've been on a college campus. I'm sure every school has something similar.

Here's a no-nonsense answer.

It depends on the recruit.

It depends on what the recruit is looking for, what is attractive to him.

It depends on if the campus and the town or city has something to offer that appeals to said recruit, and they are all different.

It also depends on the family, the parent(s), the guardians.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder ... or, in this case, the eye of the recruits.

I have heard recruits say they love South Carolina for the women ... the women down the road at SC State.

I have heard them say they love the campus because of the old history.

I have heard them say they love Clemson for the small town feel, while I have heard them say they love SCAR for the big town feel.

A lot of it usually comes-down to excitement in the stadium on game day.

A lot of it, a lot of the time, comes down to them being far enough away from home to feel independent, while at the same time being close enough for Momma to come to games.

It just all depends.

Alabama's is very impressive with all of the new buildings.
Ole Miss impresses with the hotness of its women, but the campus itself is meh.
Athens impresses, but the cops quickly end that.
LSU is stunning, but if the only other part of BR they see is Old South Baton Rouge, I-110 coming from the airport, and Tigerland, they're going to be scared away pretty fast.

Our bags are strategically placed around campus, so they enjoy it all

Bama, LSU, UGA and Ole Miss have the nicest campuses in the SEC.

I've been to away games at most of the campuses and Athens was far and away the best.

You gotta get out more man. SEC campuse are beautiful, and the women are gorgeous.

Yes, it has an effect on a recruit. Not only the overall campus atmosphere but the athletic facilities, the ladies, the academic support, etc. In today's cut-throat recruiting battles, you have to have the total package to get the top talent to campus.

I have a friend who is going to Bama next semester and he said it's an amazing campus. Not sure if that plays into recruits pick but I can't see how it would hurt having a great campus and campus lifestyle.

Still love LSU's campus, like to walk around when I can.

I've been to all of them. They are all very nice. It comes down to personal preference.

Personally, I think campus beauty is probably towards the bottom of the list of factors for most recruits.

All SEC campuses have something unique about them. What captures a recruit is the coaches, the schools success in sending players to the NFL, the overall programs success (and recent), and how their experience goes on campus. Auburn has a really pretty campus connected to the downtown. My experience there, everything is in walking distance and almost every street has a very attracting store or restaurant to it. Alabama and Georgia's campuses are beautiful and fairly large. Lots of redevelopment going on both campuses. New retail stores are coming on LSU's campus last I heard near the stadium. The most attractable thing to me IMO is how much stuff there is to do on campus or around.

I have been/driven through a few. Athens is the best, Fayettville is like a mini Athens. Baton Rouge doesn't even feel like a college town, plus a lot of ghetto and crazy traffic. Starkville looks like a regular southern town. College Station is fricking hot as hell and flat.
