Why because it's not "traditional" or do you truly believe that the black jersey's cost us that Bama game.

This. It would set the crowd on fire. But have the captains come out in red like they did against Auburn in 2007 and then switch to the black.

No, but it didn't help. It did provide a rallying and focal point for Bama which no one can deny. There is no need to provide motivation for the other team which Bama jumped all over due to the positioning of UGA on the unis. The uniform change is a gimmick, nothing more, nothing less, and if you think that that it doesn't cause losses, then certainly you can't think it causes wins.

If I had to sign on to one game in black, I would go with the bug game, last regular season game of the season, our biggest rival (they are, we are just beating them now) and it would give the team something to look forward all year.

I don't like seeing the black jerseys used as a coaching technique to motivate the players to play better or play more up tempo.

I say these for sure:
Clemson
Tennessee
Auburn

1. Yes b/c they are home games but...

2. Mainly b/c we need to walk into our house and be the reapers this year and take their frickin' soul!

Seriously though I don't care what they are wearing as long as they fear the day we walk onto the field!

I was very disappointed last season when Nike couldn't get us some black unis for the Kentucky night game. After the season we endured and the contribution of last year's senior class to the program, it felt wrong that we weren't able to make it happen for them. Going into to my senior and it would be sad not to experience a true blackout. I don't even care what game it would be, there are plenty of good opportunities this season to get the house rockin.

Blackouts are gimmicky and a distraction if you 'gota have one then do it for homecoming only. Dallas is right Alabama's coach Cochran used it beautifully in motivating his players against the Dawgs in 2008.

In 1980 UGA made a season change by wearing the silver britches in tribute, that makes sense but, it looks weak and needy if you're changing things up for a single event IMO.

The students/band can do what they wont too nobody gives a frick.

Aren't people always on here bitching about Sanford Stadium not being as loud as it could??

Will anyone here deny that the black-out games took things to another level inside the stadium in terms of crowd noise and insanity-levels?

HOnestly, I wonder if some of you are really only scared of black-outs becuase, you're worried if we lose, you'll never hear the end of it from your 19 year-old dweeb pals on SEC-parrotRant. Meanwhile, in the real world, Blackouts are a hell of a lot of fun for the players and the fans.........and what's wrong with that?

I not care if we wear them or not, in recent past we had 2 blowouts and 1 loss , the uniform has nothing to go with execution , players should wear them if they want.

Personally I think they look best for night games

But the uniform should only have:

Red helmets

Red, Black, or White jersey

Silver britches
