The world really needs more moving sidewalks.

the plebeians living in the less prosperous regions of the state are welcome to come see it if interested.
Maybe Dactyl can bring the Bismarck 1st Church of Christ youth group up to XNA to see the city sights.

I believe the moving sidewalk is indicative of NWA's status
Do you still have to drive through the woods and past cow pastures to get to that little airport or does the interstate take you right to it?
Also, since they are the economic hub of the state, maybe they can improve on the infrastructure of that town. Hell, maybe some bike lanes, heard that's a major problem up there, not being biker friendly.

There aren't any woods in NWA, didn't you read the other post?

Never been to XNA; is it really that big? If they put in a moving sidewalk at LIT, it would be a huge showcase of laziness and a waste of money.

yes. It serves as a major regional hub for the Ozark plateau and beyond.

I love ya Ham, but XNA is fricking tiny. Little Rock is small but its massive compared to XNA.
XNA
Clinton National Airport
And I would fricking bust out laughing at some fricker using the automated sidewalk for the XNA hub. The longest section that anyone would have to walk is 1,019 feet

I love using those things. I tend to walk briskly any way because I'm a white male with things to get done, but I can really eat up ground when power walking on those. I like to give homage to the greatest coach to ever live, John McDonnell, I long jump off the end to the amazement of the world travelers that were lucky enough to bare witness.

I live in NWA and frickin hate going to Fayetteville. Bunch damn hippies down there who can't drive. There's more to NWA than the I-49 corridor.

You left out the part about starting a thread every time NWA gets a new grocery store, theater, gas station, check cashing store, cell phone tower, or the "I'm finally getting sewer utilities at my home" threads.
I love their enthusiasm, but damn, this shits been going on in the rest of the world for over fiddy years.
There's this little detail that you missed when you decided to follow college sports. You will be interacting with a lot of people who actually attended that university. In fact, on this board, there are people from other states whose only connection to Arkansas is Fayetteville and the University of Arkansas.
We discuss Fayetteville's bars, restaurants, and sometimes by extension, greater NWA mainly because the University of Arkansas is located in Fayetteville.
Hope that helps. Feel free to start more Little Rock oriented threads, or West Memphis, or whatever you want. But we tend to discuss Fayetteville because that's where the school is, where a lot of us live or have lived, and where every single athlete on all the teams you "support" live. That's why, dummy.

I love to have room to breathe, woods to roam, relatively flat land to walk on, great soil to grow gardens in, driveways that don't go up at a 45 degree angle, lakes and ponds to fish, gracious southern folks, not overrun with Yankee transplants and illegal aliens.
I live in the country, where you can see the stars at night, hear the coyotes howl, watch the deer and rabbits in your yard, catch a 10 lb bass or a 20 (or more) pound catfish and a stringer of slab crappie, all in the same day.
If I need any 'city' things, I am less than an hour from the capitol of Arkansas, the center of government and any shopping or entertainment or medical (including the state's only Level 1 adult trauma center) needs I might have.
Take it easy on the Duck Dynasty.
