Go to SimpliSafe.com and order what you think you need to start ... you can always add to it later.
We just installed their kit at the beach house and it is the absolute bomb. We even had an ADT rep friend of ours admit to us that SimpliSafe technology is equal to or better than theirs ... it will eventually dominate the residential market.

this is some good info. it's a new house we had pre-wired so a sunk cost there if we go 100% wireless with Frontpoint or SimpliSafe right? We are doing video for sure for the outside. so seems like on this thread it's a toss up between SS and FP? do both have mobile device monitoring capability?
