Last 45ish years of Miss. State football has produced the following SEC records. Jackie has a better SEC win % than Dan.

Charley Shira 5-32-2 .120
Bob Tyler 7-30 .189
Emory Bellard 15-27 .357
Rockey Felker 5-28 .151
Jackie Sherrill 43-59-1 .417 = GOAT
Sylvester Croom 10-30 .250
Dan's Muffins 16-24 .400

Four straight bowls, has Arkansas even accomplished that since joining the conference?

So his signature win was his 5th and final win of his first season in Starkville... I get the whole low expectations thing that came with taking the job in Starkville but damn...

Speaking of signature wins, when is the last time State beat a top 20 team? Have they done it since sherrill?

Let's say he goes 8-4 or maybe even upset LSU or Auburn and go 9-3, and Coach Boom falls apart at UF, is Mullen first in line at Florida?

Yes, what does a season long record have to do with an individual win? That's pretty embarrassing that y'all gave him his first signature win during a 5-7 season.

I'd love to know how many of those 16 came against teams that went winless in SEC play... I can think of 5 off the top of my head.. 2 UKs, 1 OM, 1 AU and 1 Arky.

2010 UGA was a signature win also. As well as the Florida win. IDGAF if it was their worst teams ever, which is always the case it seems. Schools like UGA and Florida have no excuse to be bad.

1st in line? No. Top 5 candidate, yes. I honestly think UF would go after a big name coach if Boom fails.

Arkansas hasn't had 2 straight bowl wins since 75 & 77. Why do y'all do this to yourself
