I don't believe anyone will ever get the DP again. You would have conferences filing suit after suit for lost revenue.

exactly
no death penalty because that hurts the other schools and the conference as well

No question UVA has power within the conference. I put them at 3rd, which is pretty high.
The ACC was set to add Miami, BC and Syracuse when UVA stepped in and insisted that VT be added instead of Syracuse. The League agreed. The Virginia legislature threatened UVA with state funding unless VT was added to the conference.

UVA has at worst the second most, and Duke really isn't a close third. They don't bring nearly as much to the table as UVA.

If raping kids doesn't get the death penalty nothing will.

Nobody is ever getting the death penalty again. It does too much damage for too long a period to too many kids who had nothing to do with the problems that caused it.

No TV bans or death penalty. $$$$$$$$$
You will see vacations, bowl bans, scholarship reductions.

The REC is modeled after UNC's running of the ACC. They will not get the death penalty.
Even if they did (which they absolutely won't), it wouldn't kill the ACC

First, UNC has already been sanctioned by the NCAA (1 year bowl probation and loss of scholarships for 3 years). We are currently serving under these sanctions.
Well the NCAA did reopen the investigation because they think more people are willing to cooperate now

To be fair, Logan Young took Bama's death penalty.

If that were true, Virginia Tech wouldn't be in the ACC.
you are mistaken
the VA legislature strong armed the University of Virginia into using their influence to get the ACC to bring in VA Tech with Miami.
If the Cavs did not have extra-ordinary influence, they would not have been able to demand that their in state rival be brought in.

The Death Penalty will never be used again.

NCAA better at least take their title away that they won with players taking the bogus classes. One of them has already come out to the press saying he took the no-show, easy A classes...

Would anybody have a whole list of what UNCACH did?

They wont get the DP.
It'll be consensual and loving, with a single partner, missionary-style.
Wait...are we talking about the same DP?
Anyway, UNC will likely escape major sanctions. It certainly won't get the death penalty.

The only reason Penn State got the "death penalty" is because of the nature of what was covered up.
You likely won't ever see again what we knew as the death penalty in previous years. And UNC will weather it without much issue IMO. Worst case scenario is they tie Roy Williams to it and he gets a show cause. Just ask UConn how a post-season ban worked for them recently.
ETA: And on the basketball end the ACC has recently gained Louisville, Syracuse, and will still have Duke. They're not going anywhere.
