He has stated many times he likes doing "firsts" at programs. He likes building programs, not inheriting good programs.

So, you're wrong.

What the frick did Spurrier do in this case? Look at Saban wrong? Good lord you Bama fans are sensitive

You act like Spurrier asked him that question
My post wasn't necessarily about the pic of the two on ESPN, but the accumulation of barbs SOS has throw at Saban recently.

Why maybe not coaching wise?

I don't follow them enough to know either way other than win/loss record which is good but I have no idea what talent is there. I would like to see him win the SEC at least once at USCe.

Barbs? What barbs? He's made comments about Saban, but nothing insulting in any way.

Alabama is the best program in the country right now, coaches use that as a benchmark. Get over it and take it for what it is, a compliment.

And yet he's always talking about Bama/Saban.

Except for the fact that he's a builder, not a maintenance man.

He was in a roundtable with Saban and boom earlier today and was talking about playing the south carolina instate schools and how much it helps those programs and ended with something along the lines of:

"if they beat us they beat us... You know wafford has given us some trouble before they go up and down the field with that triple option. Will knows how hard that can be to prepare for."

I was dying laughing.

Yeah, I heard that ... I could just picture the look on Muschamp's face when he got word of that bait.

The HBC must think he's got a good team this year ... every coach on our schedule has our game circled right now thanks to the HBC. I hope he knows what he's doing. I think he does ... it's just head games.
