Damn, really? And Tech still has a more recent National Title.(albeit, split)

The feeling leaving the stadium in 09 when they were sure they would crush us was just beautiful.
While the loss in 2008 will never be ok to me I'll say 2009 was great. It was weird because usually I have a case of the Munsons and I am always leery of a Georgia loss in any decent hyped game. That game, though, I was 100% confident before the game we'd win. I knew Georgia wasn't good, Cox was a ginger-twat, and this was GT's best in years but I knew UGA would win. I took advantage of a lot of GT fans that year and made a good amount on bets.

I wanna say that GT has only beaten UGA at GT like 2-3 times in the last 20-25 years or something too

Twice since 1989. Last time Tech won at BDS was during the Clinton administration.

In Atlanta they've beaten UGA in 77, 85, 89, and 99. The 1999 loss was later vacated due to one of their probations. So if you eliminate vacated wins, Tech has beaten us in Atlanta three times over the past 37 years.
Richt has more COFH wins in Atlanta than Georgia Tech's last seven coaches combined. It's staggering how far they've fallen, and is made even more hilarious when you consider they are still getting slammed by the NCAA regularly.
Last "Tech sucks" stat I'll throw out, I promise. Georgia Tech has lost 8 of their last 9 bowl games and 12 of 13 to UGA. Imagine being virtually guaranteed to lose your final two games every year.

That win by Tech was restored (along with the other vacated wins from 98-00) when the initial ruling was overturned by the NCAA.

What am I clueless on Chris? Your win was restored from 99 after being temporarily vacated. Your coach has the jowls of Richard Nixon and has nightmares about Mark Richt. Tech has run afoul of NCAA compliance quite a bit lately. You spend a lot of time on a UGA message board. What information am I missing?

I'll go with, "More recent football national championship," for $400, Alex.

On a more serious note, I absolutely can't stand, and I mean REALLY can't stand Paul Johnson. They will never recruit well enough in that forsaken triple option they run.
How hard would it be to recruit at Georgia Tech if they had a good coach? Not hard at all.
Contrary to popular belief from Georgia fans/SEC homers, GT under Gailey, and especially under Dodd, recruited Georgia, and the south, very well. I'll take Demaryus Thomas and Calvin Johnson over every SEC school's best WR's in the past decade.
They need to can CPJ's sorry arse, and get a real coach who can recruit. Being in Atlanta has its advantages, and it wasn't so long ago Georgia Tech was a perennial top-25 team. Honestly, that's really a school I'd love to have back in the SEC. Great academics, right in the heart of a big-city (easy road game), and historical connections to some of the conference's glory days. I'll take the Yellow Jackets over Mizzou, or Mississippi State every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

He's spent more time shite talking UGA on the radio during his tenure than Spurrier. At least with Spurrier it is witty and comical. CPJ tries to say we all work at Wal-Mart and beat our S/O's.

More like the intelligent, more popular and successful jock older brother beating up on his slightly smarter, unbearably awkward and nerdy little brother. Probably for bringing his math homework to the game and missing the next Bluegrass Miracle because he was trying to figure a square root.

I'd like to compare your engineering and medical school graduates with ours, but the problem is you don't have a medical or engineering school. You see UGA is the arts n parties branch of the Ga school system, those "nerds" go to Tech, because they know that's where you go for a serious education.
Our engineering school is only like 3 years old. That is thanks to Tech blocking it's creation because it wasn't fair for us to encroach on their territory.
UGA has a better journalism, business and law schools than Mizzou.
Also, if you want a serious education in medicine, biomedical engineering, or business in Atlanta, you don't go to Georgia Tech, you go to Emory.

This is where you're wrong.
Not entirely. We show the whole damn nation how to party. You can get a PhD in that at UGA.
