UGA fans: How can y'all still truly hate Tech?

It's gotta be hard to hate a team that's so mediocre and hardly ever can compete with y'all. Tech has beaten y'all 15 times since 1957. Is it mainly like a confidence booster thing like a big bully beating up the nerdy kid in class or is there something I'm missing here?

Personally I hate UF and AU more, but that is because I have had good friends go to Tech and even play football there. I don't want UGA to lose to them, but I usually cheer for them if they aren't playing UGA. It is a Georgia school; I want them to be good both academically and athletically. They represent my state.

because on the rare occasion that they win they are the most unbearable people in existence on planet Earth. Winning that game is a necessity.

I can only speak for myself, but I rarely give them a second thought except week of the game. I have some friends that are big fans of theirs (Tech) and they are ok...but I have some other friends that are Tech fans and they criticize everything that is Georgia. I try not to talk about football around them. They used to criticize Georgia for their OOC schedule, for instance...but didn't want to talk about their own.
It's mainly their fans that can be aggravating....but so can ours, so it's a wash, really.

Ummm....you DO realize Georgia is ranked higher than Mizzou academically, right?

Because they are incredibly annoying during the week before. Then they shut up when they lose and some even say they want the series canceled
