Oxford is Oxford and Starkville is Starkville. That's why OM is a more appealing job.
LOL. Yeah -- we had so much trouble that we hired the national champion OC. You hired Arky St's coach after our boy in Lafayette told you thanks but no thanks.

Not to mention the fact that OM has won something significant.
ELLLL OH ELLLLLL

It's easier to recruit to Oxford because of the town, women, better facilities, better food, better atmosphere, etc.
So easy to dominate recruiting that you generally only get 50% of the players in the state and still can't manage to beat big bro, huh? How many years in a row now have you finished behind us in the west? #crootindomination
Don't look up this year -- because we're taking that from you as well.

Taking these things into account makes the job Mullen has done up to this point very impressive. Four straight bowl games is something to be proud of in Starkville!
What Mullen has done is the baseline of what we expect going forward -- with the potential for a special year this year -- but one that will ultimately define him either way and give us a pretty good idea about his ceiling. You won't find a single State fan that thinks he's greatly overachieved thusfar. He's basically been chalk. Done some things great and some things not so good. One thing I won't complain about is that he self-examines and fixes problems from year-to-year. It's not your mom and dad's Mississippi State anymore.

I couldn't make it past this statement.

Posting "LOL" and "ell oh ell" doesn't change facts, engie.
You should log off and come back in a few years when you aren't as rustled.
If you would have referred to State as "big bro" in a baseball thread, I would taken you seriously for a moment before reflecting on my trip to Omaha this year.

Lane Kiffin > Mike Gundy.
I'm not going to get into to it with you but are you arguing that y'all are not our subordinate in recruiting on a regular basis? That's all he was saying an explained a couple of examples why.
The only years you out recruit us, you have a stranglehold on the state. Even when you are the better program we still manage to recruit as well or better in many years. All things equal we have out recruited you and flipped your recruits on a regular basis. Can you imagine our hold on the state if we won 4 out of 5? We win just one and we take who we want on almost or every kid in the state and always out recruit you out of the state regardless of the egg. National appeal n shite

Exactly. We were able to hire a guy with FBS head coaching experience. The best you could do was a coordinator. Lol @ State AMIRITE.
