It's hard to get excited about a Mississppi State-NC State game 7 years away from now

If I were an AD, I would always insist on having the home game first in these type matchups. Just in case the other guys decide to back out after the first game.

Typically they back out a few years in advance, not the offseason before a game is played. Also I imagine you'd have to pay quite a bit to do so and break the contract, especially if you owe the home game

I'm just glad it's a home and home and not another random neutral site game.

Agreed. I'm not a neutral site fan. I like the on campus environment whether it's home or away.

Well I, for one, can barely contain my excitement.

NC State is a good matchup for us. Not too difficult but also not a cupcake. I like this move by us.
