2008
The LSU fanbase, after recently losing fan favorite and national champion Matt Flynn to graduation, is brimming with excitement over incoming freshman, and Louisiana native, Jordan Jefferson.
Tiger fans, in particular, are excited about Jordan's running ability, general athleticism, size, and his decision making abilities under pressure.
Jordan leaves Destrehan and heads up the River to Baton Rouge as a highly-touted four-star quarterback, a Louisiana class AAAAA state champion, a top 250 player, and one of the top ten players in Louisiana.
Basically, this kid is a can't miss, homegrown product that will lead the Tigahs to a national championship, right?
2014
The LSU fanbase, after recently losing fan favorite and convicted sexual criminal Zach Mettenberger to graduation, is brimming with excitement over incoming freshman, and Louisiana native, Brandon Harris.
Tiger fans, in particular, are excited about Brandon's running ability, general athleticism, size, and his decision making abilities under pressure.
Brandon leaves Bossier City and heads down I-49 to Baton Rouge as a highly touted four-star quarterback, a top 250 player, and one of the top ten players in Louisiana.
This kid will definitely lead the Bayou Bengals to the national championship, right?
The road which we've traveled before: Les Miles Ruins QBs Avenue
Jordan never panned out, finishing his abysmal LSU career with an embarrassing loss to Alabama in the BCS National Championship Game; a game in which Jordan could not lead the LSU offense across the fifty yard-line until there were merely eight minutes left in LSU's "dream season."
Jordan was arrested multiple times in Baton Rouge and is now a quarterback for the Pittsburgh Power of the Arena Football League, a truly disappointing ending to what could have been a wonderful career for a young man from Louisiana.
We've been down this road before, y'all.
Les Miles ruins talented quarterback prospects and Brandon Harris will be no different.

LOL it's like Cam Cameron doesn't actually exist or something. In spite of what he did with Mett last year.
Miles has jack shite to do with it at this point. The best QB guru in the league does.

LSU 10+ wins, 4 seasons in a row.
Ole Miss <10 wins, 4 seasons in a row.

Please get your facts straight.
No one expected JJ to be a significant factor before that season began. The QB battle was Hatch and Lee.

Any QB thread about LSU that doesnt include the purple drankin' Jamaruckus Russell sucks.

And we'll still lose to them.

What was Jordan's record at LSU? If others can do as well then pls keep ruining QB's Coach Miles. Jordan played well most games and gave LSU their best shot to win games. Miles stuck by Jefferson to the bitter end. I guess somewhere in there he ruined him.
Peyton Manning wouldnt have beaten the Gumps that night.
