10 of 18.

Lots of walk-ons and Jucos in that senior class. I don't think Derby has been given a scholarship but obviously he is going to play.

Otis put out an update on Tretola tonight on 247 that makes it sound like he might not make it.

Also, do you think Kendrick Payne is going to play? I don't think anyone really noticed that he started with the 1's in every single scrimmage this spring.

Been saying this for two years now to anyone who'll listen -- not only was Petrino's recruiting terrible on paper, but the resulting attrition from his last three classes has been horrendous, and it's largely why we've been so shallow and terrible the last few years.

Seriously, just look at his 2010 and 2011 classes -- which should be making up the bulk of the RS Sr, Sr., and RS Jr classes -- and how many of those guys either never hit campus or didn't make it a year before leaving or getting bounced. I used to know the exact number, but something like 15 guys from those two classes weren't on the roster by the time we played the 2012 Cotton Bowl. And yet, somehow last year is totally on Bert, despite the fact that several of our linebackers were either walk-ons, former walk-ons or true freshmen.

Payne turning into a player for us would be such a great surprise. Maybe he'll be our first JJ Watt-Bielema'esque success story. I know our secondary sucks, but for a RS-FR Walkon to be getting consistent reps with the 1's, he's got to be busting his butt. Hope it works out for him.
