Damn, that would make me sad if I were a Gator fan.
ETA: Or a half Gator fan. Sorry RG.

They're hoping Roper can turn him around.

Other than that one game in 2008, I don't think Florida fans are jealous of the successes of the Black Bears.

I actually think Driskel is not a terrible QB. His completion percentage has improved every year. I mean he had a 64% completion 12 TDs, and 5 INTs as a true Sophomore. Lets not forget he's on team that's offensive strategy was so abysmal, the O-linemen were blocking each other.

That's the only QB they have. We saw that last season when he got hurt

Let's put it this way, I would rather have Driskel's proven ability at this point in the game than having to scramble to get Coker ready for the season.

Why, He's a pretty solid QB? Never quite lived up to the 5 star billing but definatly much better than the alternative. Start a freshman that needs polish or start the proven Vet. Driskel is the answer.

I think Driskel surprises some people this year. This offense will be good for him.

Honestly, he's a better QB than he's given credit for. If he gets decent play around him from the OL and WR, he will surprise people in the SEC this year.
He's big, he's mobile, and in a spread offense, he could be really damn good, and anyone that's not hating knows that there is a very good chance he flourishes this year.
That being said, at least the back up has game experience this year, and UF also has two talented freshmen, because Driskel has never made it through an entire season, in 3 years, without getting hurt.

It's make or break this yr for Driskel. Many hold out hope because Ropers style of offense actually fits Driskels skill set. With that being said, if he doesn't perform well this year, he never will.
Roper has been great for UF so far with QB recruits.
Landed 4* Treon Harris last yr and 4* Sheriron Jones this year.
Pease was able to get UF 2* Max Staver and 3* Skyler Mornhinweg.
WM landed Will Grier for UF last yr, thanks to his relationship with Will's father.
Unfortunately for WM, he bought into the Pease hype and it might cost him his job.

Florida's O-Line deserves some serious criticism.

Even though he's been a major bust to this point, having a different offensive coordinator every year would be hard for anyone.

Other sites charge you for that sort of inside info, but not here.

Didn't you hear, he's third string All-SEC.

I think he's proven that he can get the job done. He was your typical Bama QB in 2012, lead UF to a Sugar Bowl, played behind a stout defense , and protected the ball. I think they could have a similiar season if their running game and O-line are good to great.

Why would that make you sad? We're one of the few teams in the conference returning a QB with starting experience, and we're finally running an offense that's tailored to his skill set.
