A&M has kicked the players off that were warranted. A PI or first pot charge isn't likely warranted for team removal though they have all had to miss games for their actions. Lets not act like sumlin turns the other way.

We run this state right?
Could it seem that your coach doesn't care about his players off the field? As a parent, coach or family member could that be important?

Any reason why golden AND Claiborne had multiple arrests before sumlin was forced to address the issue?

Could it be perceived that sumlin is running a lax program and is only focused on winning to keep his job?

Or could it perceived that he cares enough not to run your arse after a single slip up? Seems like he doesn't want to immediately dismiss a player without giving him a chance to clean up his act. Strong could be creating an environment players and parents are afraid of. No rope could mean no compassion.

Texas dismissed four players today. Two or being charged and two for breaking rules. Two were definitely going to be counted on this season (Sanders and Overstreet).

Of the players dismissed I believe Bergeron, Sanders, and Meander were the 3 counted on the most. Overstreet was not a very good player IMO. It's going to be so interesting to see how the way A&M and Texas handle things will affect big time recruits like Jefferson, Boyd, and Sheffield.

Eta: I think Josh Turner would have played a little bit as well. None of those guys are stars, but depth is going to be an issue.

Golden and Claiborne had multiple arrests less than 3 minths apart.

I know youre trolling but I'm curious as to what you think warrants a boot from the team. When Claiborne was arrested the first time, he missed the chicken bowl and spring practice (as well as golden). After subsequent arrests they were booted off.

Is it your opinion that one arrest means immediate dismissal? Speeding ticket=immediate dismissal? Do you wait until they are actually found guilty or just charged? Short of rape of a minor, I think players should be given at least a second chance. What do you think?
