Any possibility UF upsets Bama?

With the lack of experience at the quarterback for Bama and UF's usually dominant defense, I can see this game being very close. I would even go on the say if UF's offense is better than average, they could be favored. I think this game is very overlooked.

they wont be favored, but the gators could pull it off.

did not read...ICYMI UF did beat Bama 2 straight games, but it wasn't that much of an upset since both were in the top 5. That's how you win a National Championship.

This will not sit well with the Bama schedule haters.

Unless Florida's offense is much improved, I don't see it. You forget that in order for Florida to win, they have to score. Bama usually has a pretty good defense too. It may be a low scoring affair, or Coker could be all world and destroy Florida. Gotta wait and see what Florida looks like on offense.

As good a chance as any. Depends on UF's offensive transition back to the spread, which has given Bama issues. The defense will again be near the top of the SEC, and I think they will be much better overall.

"Alabama shouldn't have to play Florida two years after they rotated off of Alabama's schedule all because the SEC was tired of hearing LSU fans whine."

Have you seen Bama's spring game? They had negative yardage on offense. Kiffense at work.

Yes it's a possibility. If Florida can find an offense, they could be pretty good next year

No. There's no reason to play the game. Just go ahead and give Bama another championship.
Of course there is a fricking chance you dolt. That's why they play the games.

Has the potential to be low scoring and, therefore, close. This could be Alabama's new QB's first test against a very good defense. I imagine Alabama will be conservative on offense. If FL's offense has any life and gets a couple of TDs, it could get really interesting.
Right now it looks like a game in the teens. 17-13 kind of game.

Both will lose in Knoxville this year.

Since Muschamp has taken over, UF has not had an offensive identity. Alabama at least has a talented and experienced running back corps to rely on if they can't get the QB situation figured out in a timely manner. Unless they find an entire offense, I don't see it happening.

Today, of course. I think given the unknowns related to Alabama, Georgia and LSU, teams like UF or Tenn could push anyone in the conference. I'm sure some of that will get separated out fairly early on, but it is really unclear if any teams will be dominant.

I wouldn't touch the line on this game unless it's UF +11 or more in which case I'm betting the farm.
