This. I had this discussion with my daughter on Monday. She had thanked my Dad for his service, to which he said Thank You of course. But in the car headed home I took the opportunity to teach her the difference. I would never make an issue about it because ANYTIME someone wants to Thank a Veteran is okay by me.
