Currently Active Duty, 4 years in, AU NROTC grad. Really appreciate the support from everyone and you guys on this board. This day for me is for my Dad and his father. Dad was Team 1, two tours in Vietnam and my grandfather was a marine pilot, shot down 3 times at the Battle of Midway. My mom's father oddly enough was on a Cruiser at the same battle. They made sacrifices I will never be able to make.

I know exactly what you mean. I get out in October, hopefully go on terminal in August. It'll be the end of 8 years in the Corps for me too. And I'll miss the people not so much the bullshite.
