Will Bama ever replicate 45-5 record by Tennessee?

45-5 (.900) by Tennessee. That was Tennessee's record from 1995-1998. 5 losses in 4 year period. No other SEC team has been able to accomplish that since going to 12 teams in 1992.
Also, the last SEC team to win back-to-back conference titles was Tennessee (1997-1998). Saban will never win back-to-back SEC titles, you can take that to the bank. In fact, he may not win another SEC title period. #tDecline

Will Tennesse ever come within 3 touchdowns of Bama in the next decade?

Y'all Auburn fans are setting yourselves up for a huge letdown.

If I had a son the day UT last beat Alabama, he would now be old enough to be that annoying kid who knows everything about dinosaurs.

But Tennessee sucks and its not fair Bama gets to play them.
UT is an SEC school playing in a 100,000 seat stadium, a short drive from Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama. They have been recruiting well and will continue to recruit well. They just needed a coach, which they seem to have now.

Will the SEC ever be as weak as it was in the mid-90s ever again? That is the question you need to ask yourself.
From 1995-1998, the other so-called "Big Six" powers of the SEC went as follows:
Alabama: 29-18
Auburn: 29-19
Georgia: 30-17
LSU: 30-16
In short...the conference, aside from Florida and Tennessee, was very mediocre.

Does it suck to be owned by your rival in your period of greatest success? I imagine that would suck.

You had a winning record (5-4-1) but I would hardly call that "owning" us.

After the 9th game of this season, Bama will be 45-4 since the start of the 2011 season, with 2 NC's sprinkled in there.

And two back to back losses to gimmick up tempo spread teams to boot.
