When I saw a Gump was giving per-player talking points, I immediately scrolled down to look for Mark Ingram, and I wasn't disappointed:
But wait, there's more...
Never stop, Bama fans.

mark ingram- injured early on, not really in a system where he can thrive, shows flashes and then gets taken out of the game. needs more carries. could be great somewhere that knows how to and is committed to running the football
But wait, there's more...

trent richardson- too early to call a bust, rushed for almost 1000 yards at cleveland despite being literally the only offensive weapon on the team, had zero time to learn colts system before the 2013 season. got picked twice in 1st round, so somebody thinks hes worth it
Never stop, Bama fans.

Is any of that evaluation false?

I think the current sell is this:
At least that one has accurate info. It's better than that one poster where the guy just looked at rosters from certain years and assumed Saban recruit certain guys.

lulz. Payton's two best years the Saints were 4th and 6th in the league in rushing.

Clever disinformation ploy to get the Gumps feeling that Saban is underperforming and allowing the door to open ever so slightly for his boy Kiffin to slide into the HC job.

Yeah, I think Mark Ingram was drafted about 4 rounds too soon. He just doesn't have the skills to be a dominant back in the NFL.

Yeah, I think Mark Ingram was drafted by the wrong team.
^^^^^^^^
Why would the Saints waste that pick on Mark Ingram, anyway - when they know they're going to pass the ball 50+ times a game and split carries with at least 2 other backs? It seems like they could have gotten much more value out of that pick by either trading it to someone else who wanted Ingram, or by just selecting someone else.

What REALLY sucks is that was the year of the lockout, so free agency happened after the draft instead of in March like normal. We signed Darren Sproles that offseason, and I truly believe if we sign Sproles before the draft we don't trade back into the first to draft a RB.

So, if the OP is correct, it looks like Coach Saban is getting better results and winning championships with less talented players.

Anyone count the amount of insecure Alabama fans in here?
Posted on 4/24/14 at 2:55 pm to LSUTIGER#1fan
Phyllis is not going to like this. "Let me tell you something Cowturd.........".
Maybe it boils down to quite a few bama players are getting used up in college?

What I'm reading is that LSU has better athletes but still loses to Alabama on the regular. Fine with me.

Now that's not very insecure of you. Retype that.

God, I love being a tiger and not some gump bitch who gets butt hurt over a radio hosts' opinion.

I'll take severe cases of unnecessary butt-hurt to go along with pretty much running the show in the SEC. Seems like a great deal to me.

Cowherd talks to get people riled up all the time. He'll say that from time to time

Didn't you hear? Playing on a division champion with arguably the best young QB in the game is a horrible situation.
