I would block the hell out of his transfer. Leaving cause you're "homesick"? That's such weak sauce. Either he was just over OM or really is a candy arse who can't be too far from momma. It's really gonna bum him out to know there's not a pro team in AL to aspire for either.
One of my biggest peeves is when people that age still can't handle leaving home. It's not like Oxford is on the other side of the country.

and it's no like every major school doesn't have people that will "take you in" like you're their family.
