Tradition/history makes baseball great but also makes it slow to change.
Not to be that guy, but another problem is that fewer and fewer Americans appear in the game (maybe a chicken or the egg problem).

I'm still pissed about 85 and Denkinger. I was at that game in standing room only. Guy was out by at least a step. Always disliked the Royals back when they were good, now I'm not much of a baseball fan so don't really care.
