I can think of a handful of SEC schools that he'd be an immediate upgrade for.

He is still a very good coach, IMO. He is very underrated as a D mind. He would definitely not be in the lower echelon of current SEC coaches.

sure, when the SEC adds Cincy to try and ramrod SECN subs into Ohio he will have been hired by another SEC school.

until then?

hell no

why would anyone pick him up when he couldn't even handle the pressure at Texas Tech?

If for whatever reason Freeze left, I wouldn't mind him. If he had stayed with us I think Ole Miss would have won the west at least twice with him.

Tuberville is a good coach, just didn't get along with the administration so he gave up. He'd do well at a non-powerhouse SEC school with little winning tradition like Arkansas.

Too old, plus the whole headset ripping off/lying about it incident makes him look like a major tool.

Definitely not. Tubbs best days are long gone.

It's amazing how people act like it was borderline treason to fire Fulmer, but nobody pays attention to the fact that he got a lot more rope than Tuberville.
