Let's do this...

Memorable?

Probably the birth of my children, my father's death, or skydiving with my wife shortly before marriage simply due to how incredibly powerful each experience was.

Forgettable?

Crushing my testicles and ripping open my schlong from tip to tail in a freak accident when I was 12, simply due to how powerful that experience was.

Most memorable would be when I got married and forgettable would be when my Grandmother died.

Upon reading the title I had a few things immediately in mind. Then after reading this:

quote:

Crushing my testicles and ripping open my schlong from tip to tail in a freak accident when I was 12, simply due to how powerful that experience was.

I forgot what I was thinking and decided I've had enough internet for the night.

Memorable:
Family vacations to Disney, Playa Del Carmen and Destin. I love vacations with my family.
Also, watching my daughters perform: soccer, dance, softball.
Their births were obviously special.
Moving into our new home.

Most forgettable:
Saying goodbye. My little sister lives in Israel, my little brother in China. No bueno.

Memorable- My lil gal being born. Can't believe it has been 4 years already.

Forgettable- My ex wife and that whole crap relationship/divorce process.

Thankfully the fiancee has made relationships awesome again for me.

This is a tough one. Lots of memorable experiences.

One I've been thinking of a lot lately is the first time I remember seeing the ocean, on a family vacation with my cousin. We ran down the beach, through the sea oats and into the Florida surf, laughing and splashing each other. Then posed for the obligatory photo op. This is especially poignant, given his suicide 2 weeks ago. So that particular memory is close right now.

Another very powerful memory is being by my brothers bedside, holding his hand as he took his last breath and went to a far better place. I contrast that memory with all the beautiful ones I have of us over the years.

Forgettable? More like ones I wish I could forget.

Memorable: The births of my daughters, my wedding day, and my brother's hilarious wedding.

Forgettable: My FIL having to spend three months in the ICU in Birmingham for acute necrotizing pancreatitis.

Memorable, the evening of February 17th 1997, the wife and I drove all the way from KC to Chicago, arrived around 6PM, walked up the steps of a home and looked through a window and saw the foster mother holding the baby girl that would become the most important responsibility and love of our lives, next was Dec 22nd 1990 at the bedside of my mother, she was in a coma and was dying from liver failure due to hepatitis B, my mother was a nurse and contracted the disease before they new much about it, anyway several of us were in the room and she had not spoke for 36 hrs, we were all hoping for a miracle and she spoke her last words and said "Let me die!".
Most forgettable, hmmm, probably hearing of some 12 year boy nearly ripping their junk off.
