How am I crazy? That just isn't the make-up for LSU. Miles coached the #1 overall draft pick at qb for 2 years and he wasn't even a finalist. LSU spreads the ball around, which I like. I prefer a coach that wins 80% of his games, plus some championships, instead of coach putting up He is an stats for a player, but not winning championships.

If Harris can learn the offense enough (2015 or 2016), he has the arm, legs, talent at WR and TE to dominate in Cam's system. You're talking averaging 9-10 yards per attempt, plus rushing yardage.

I don't really like any of these guys to win the next Heisman. This can't be the entire list.

I said get invites. Nobody knows who will be the guy for 2015. Hell we could have another first year starter it home like it's been for four of the past 5 years.

Gurley has the best chance out of everyone in the SEC next season.

His ankle still isn't 100%, but that's one of the worst injuries for a rusher. However, he's a grown arse man and will be fine in the end.

His ankle looked fine today. He looks like he dropped a little weight and is playing around his natural size, which is great because he looked much quicker. I would've swore that he'd tip the scale just past 240 around the Tech game.

Hard to see Gurley having a Heisman season when he doesnt have a Qb to keep the defense honest. Plus he is injury prone and probably wont last a full season

Bama hasnt had a true Heisman in their entire history so i doubt they have someone on their roster. Henry? Guy has one 100 yard game under his belt. Simmer down

LSU fans are propping up their true freshman running back who has never taken a snap like a bama fan would. Settle down and wait til he proves something before touting him the GOAT.

Dak? No. Bo? LOL

Now it's just blatantly obvious you're an LSU alter, which I figured from the start anyway. Still butthurt over that loss to UGA last year. Yeah Gurley getting more carries and more yards will really hurt his Heisman chances.

He's not injury prone... He turned his ankle something nasty. That's a tough injury to come back from, but he still played as much as he could the rest of the year. He just didn't plow through guys like he did when he was a freshman. Even with the injury and missing 4 game total the kid rushed for 1000 yards and averaged 6.0+ a carry scoring 16 total TD's in the process.

There isn't a back in the Nation, let alone the SEC that has the talent this kid does. He is the only obvious answer to the question... You can make a case for a few other guys, but there isn't a more talented player in the SEC.

We will run the exact same offense we did last year, but Gurley will obviously get more carries. I would be surprised if he doesn't rush for another 1300+, not to mention we will utilize him in the passing game more. We have a ton of talent on the offensive side of the ball so, if our defense can come together giving us a chance to make another run, TGII has a great shot at winning the Heisman.

Well, after reading this pathetic first page of responses. Time I chime in.

Todd Gurley...

Much better than anyone listed on the first page. Dude is a freak and you all know it to be a fact. For a second there I was fooled that this place wasn't another ESPN message board. That split second...

If he can stay healthy, they can go ahead and start engraving the trophy. It is that simple.

People will say "he has no QB" or shite like that, but he is on another level that we've only caught glimpses of. His only question is not having someone roll up on his leg TWICE (Clem and LSU) next year. If that doesn't happen, it is a foregone who should win.

Also: Mike Davis

That's a good sleeper pick. You guys are going to lean on him anyway and if Thompson can create just enough of a passing threat he could have a huge year. You guys have a decent stable, but not the platoon that UGA and Bama have. That will work to his advantage because he'll be the man.

Plus, pretty much the entire OL is coming back, right?

Dont think there has been a more over hyped player than Todd Gurley. He has one 1000 yard season to his name yet he is the best RB in the country? LOL

He is talented, dont get me wrong, but you pups need to pump the breaks

Gurley is not injury prone. He was injured last season. That can happen to anyone. When I think of injury prone the RB from Arky comes to mind...Knile Davis.
