12 of the last 13 Heisman winners were QB's so Maty Mauk might have best chance? maybe? dunno.

Dak would be a good choice, but MSU won't win enough games to keep him in the running. I really like the way that kid plays. Pretty fierce competitor.

There's a good possibility the next SEC player to win the Heisman won't win it until 2015 or 2016 (because of Miller, Winston, Mariota, Petty) when guys like Derrick Henry and Maty Mauk will have great odds to win it. Fournette out of LSU will be a beast but is obviously unproven as of now.

Next year Mike Davis, Todd Gurley, and Nick Marshall have to be the three front runners from the SEC. But at the same time no one would have predicted Manziel or Winston before the season so it's really hard to predict.

Yeah, I understand why Pinkel put Franklin back in after his injury but it seemed to me Mauk was a bigger threat. Well, he's got the job now.

Pinkel was a franklin man Maty out played him in the spring game, and should have had the starting job.

Hard to see Gurley having a Heisman season when he doesnt have a Qb to keep the defense honest. Plus he is injury prone and probably wont last a full season

Talk is cheap but so far he's had an avg. 7.5 YPC, 272 total yards, and 2 TDs against Auburn which would be even more inflated if we hadnt taken him out during the pathetic beatdown in 2012. If that's what he can do while injured then I'm sure he'll do just fine against a generic watered down Cam Newton. Solid effort on the troll though

Yep, that's my prediction, Gurley and Marshall in NYC representing the SEC after an AU/UGA SEC championship game.

And I know this is wrong, but I really don't want Marshall making an acceptance speech.

Will Grier- Florida's next Head Coach will an offensive guru who succeeded at a lesser program- a Malzahn, Gundy, Sumlin type.

Gurley is the biggest threat, I'll go with Fournette in '15.
