You're in a lot of Bama threads.
Is that a problem?

Only when you say something critical of Bama

I can't think about John Parker Wilson without remembering this.

If bammer does not start an AA QB for the next 100 years, is it still a coincidence? That is all I am asking. I am already suspicious. Just wanting to know when the rest of the board will be suspicious too
This is so stupid. If Philip Simms was a halfway decent quarterback he would have been starting over AJ. He was a four star bust, as evidenced by how he couldn't even cut it at quarterback for UVA and is now at Winston Salem State.
We recruited the hell out of Jameis Winston. If you don't think he would be starting for Bama this year then I don't know what to tell you. He chose to go to FSU despite our best efforts to get him to Bama.
We've recruited black quarterbacks, but they haven't panned out. If you look at the ratio of white to black pro style qbs you will see that 80% of pro style qbs are white. It's not like Bama is being intentionally selective. It's just the way it works out.

Don't let some POS poster whose username is that of a child's game solicit your attention. Who on this earth, including his mama, gives a shite about what he's suspicious of?...nobody, he's nothing.

When your system calls for a pro-style pocket passer you end up with a lot of white guys.

You laugh and at the same time you know nothing about Coker... that's even funnier

No one knows anything about Coker.
This isn't a nick Marshall situation where he had a year of juco games and film. Coker is a complete unknown

Aren't you the same guy that raved about our basketball team early and even predicted a win over Duke? Then you disappeared when we ended up being shite?

The Pro-style QB argument is a whole hell of a lot more valid
USCw who has had numerous Heisman trophy winning QBs in its history has had how many black QBs? How about Notre Dame? Michigan? Are all these universities racist too? Hell no stupid
Anyone who believes anything Saban says currently (he's saying what he does to motivate other parties nothing more) needs to take a step back and wait until Spring and Fall preparation concludes. Will Sims be the starter? Highly unlikely because he is not a good enough QB has NOTHING to do with the damn color of his skin.
Like previously mentioned, if Bama had landed Jameis Winston he would be the clear cut leader heading into this Season and Phillip Sims was close and AJ McCarron beat him out and he transferred, again nothing to do with his race, AJ was better and that fact as also previously mentioned has also become evident.

It is similar, just because Marshall had a year after leaving UGA to go JuCo, I'd venture to guess if Coker had done the same he would yield the same result. Coker is a different situation though since he is graduating with his degree not requiring a year to sit.
The time frame Coker has is the same as it was for Marshall though. He has a PB already and working routes etc getting ready

Saban is afraid of an athletic QB. An athletic QB might take off and run. That goes against the ultra control Saban wants over every player and every play at all times. It's worked good so far. Will be interested to see who earns the job.

No he's not, they are just not often recruited because it is a pro style 3 & 5 step drop Offense. Coker has a lot of athleticism, ran a Wing T O at St Paul's and no one really knew how good of a passer he was till D. Craig talked him into coming to their Seminoles Camp or whatever and throwing and impressing everyone and earning that first major D1 offer. Had Bama done the same he likely would've ended up at Bama but Bama offered way too late in the process and was burned for it.
McElroy made some plays with his feet, I see your argument though

We will see. I do not think it is remotely similiar. Coker has never taken a meaningful snap at any level of college and was mostly backing up someone until late high school as well and that was years ago.
Marshall actually led a college team for an entire year. I really do not see any similarities here. A better analogy would be starting a career backup for the first time. Which is what Coker is.

Personally I don't care if an Apache or a Nigerian, Eskimo, Aborigine, Neanderthal or a damn Klingon takes snaps for Alabama, just get the job done and I dare say the vast majority feels that way.
I do get a bit tired of the same old coup counters running here to post anytime anything negative happens at Alabama. Yet the same ones rip you if you do the same about their favorite school.
