I think it is time that we discuss it.

And some of you know exactly what I am taking about.

Florida State - 34
Auburn - 31

Its coming. No way to hide from it. I have already been seeing a few replays on ESPN and NBC about the game. Sucked to see that.

Soon, those of us who have hid from it will have to come to terms. We have sworn not to watch the game, not to look at videos and not to talk about it. When the season nears and when the season starts, there will be countless pictures, videos and talk on the tube about the game. There always are.

Most of us have not watched the game again and some of us swore that we never would but what will be better. Having to watch all the highlights and crap over and over when season nears or just getting it over with?

I say we pick a week early this summer, everyone watch the game sometime that week (With your favorite beverage) and discuss it for a day or so. Be done with it. Then we can be clear headed to make our run at this years ship. After looking at our team and thinking more about it, there is no reason why we should not have a good change at winning the SEC again and heading into the play offs with everything we need to do it again

Anyone?

I'll admit, I've watched the game. Still crushing. After Mason scored that TD with just over a minute left. I felt, the way our defense had been playing, that there was no shot FSU went all the way down the field and scored a TD.

I'm going to need several bourbon and cokes to deal with it, but I have planned on sitting down and watching it again to gain some vague sense closure. It may be a bad idea, but it should be done.

Will not watch that game again. Even the Auburn highlights make me sad because we had the game in our hands and let it slip away.

I am good bro. I don't need to watch it again. I am looking forward and onward. Nothing I can do to change the outcome of the NC. I know we spent many moments on here discussing it and that was good for me.

I can't bear watching anything related to it. Everything that led up to it was so perfect, only to have it end like that. It was the most crushing moment I've ever had watching sports. I will never get over that game.

As a fan of two teams (LSU/AU), I've come to terms with this defeat a bit easier than most due to experience. I've watched LSU come so close and blow it in both Football and Baseball the last few years. Watching AU do the same was equally disappointing, but I've moved on.

It is just a game. There are more important things in life. I love it when we are winning. When we aren't, I don't let it affect me too much. I just find other aspects of life to focus on and get enjoyment from.

Being an old bastard (well, middle-aged) gives me a different perspective. I was okay with it right after it happened.

We were coming off the worst season in my lifetime - yes, worse even than Shug's miserable farewell tour in '75, the hideous spectacle of the Ramsey debacle in Dye's last season in '92, and Bowden's embarrassing midseason bail in '98. and we played our guts out for the entire season, even down to the final play. You simply can't ask for more than that out of your favorite sports team.

I will never look back at 2013 with less than a feeling of immense pride and gratitude. And the BCSCG loss is a part of that.

(However, I will admit that when I took my daughter on a college tour to F$U a few weeks ago, and pulled up in front of Doak-Campbell only to see a huge banner of Davis getting beat for the winning score draped above the entrance, I was pretty fricking pissed.)
