Since 2001 Auburn RB's have rushed for 22,617 yds and 156TD's
4604 receiving and 15 TD's in the NFL
For comparison purposes only. I think I got all of the AU RB's, but I am not positive.
That is Beasley, McCleod, Davis, Johnson, Evans, Williams, Brown, Tate. From 2001 - present

Well, that solves that.
How to move the goalposts next?

I got more than that and I only counted Stephen Davis, Rudi Johnson, Carnell Williams, Ronnie Brown, and Ben Tate.

Looking for the article now TTs he was a huge Bama fan growing up and Bama pulled his offer due to the grade situation (out of HS)

"Alabama offered me recently, which was kind of a surprise to me," Robinson said. "They have liked me from very early on but I didn't expect them to offer me so soon. They are my first offer and I really haven't even heard that much from any of the other schools yet. It makes me feel really good that such a big-time program believes in me that much."
quote:
Robinson, a two-way player for Memphis powerhouse Wooddale, has already made several unofficial visits to the Crimson Tide's campus and has developed a strong relationship with the coaching staff.
quote:
"I talk to Coach (Curt) Cignetti a good bit and he's a great guy. He talks to me a lot about the fact that Alabama doesn't just recruit talented kids, they also look for high character, guys that work hard in practice and in the classroom. I have always considered myself a hard worker and it's good to know there are probably a lot of guys at Alabama who appreciate that."
quote:
"Coach (Nick) Saban in a really straightforward guy. He doesn't like to mess around, he really gets to the point when he's talking to you and lets you know what he thinks. You can tell that he has a really clear idea of what he wants for his program and he wouldn't be recruiting you if he didn't think you fit into that plan."
quote:
The rising-junior star said the Tide's style of offense is a major draw for any running back.
quote:
"I watched Alabama play in the SEC Championship game and the national championship game last season and I loved the way they play. They really feed the backs, which I obviously like a lot. Not a lot of schools rely as much on the run anymore but Alabama seems like they base everything they do off being able to run the ball."
quote:
"I'm not really thinking about committing early right now because I think I at least need to wait and see who else is going to be interested and who might offer. But no matter who else gets involved with me, Alabama is going to be in good shape. I've really liked them ever since the 9th grade. The fact that they are the first to offer me just helps them even more.

Didn't get huge lead out of what you quoted. All I got was a possible edge for Bama. Oh and "love the way they play" is pretty different from "he loved Bama." He probably loves the way we play now too from his reasoning after that quote.
And that was in June 2010 so I wouldn't really put any stock into what was said then.

I was just posting the article man no need to discredit it
Bama backed off and yanked his scholly anyway so who knows that might've pissed him off as well, no idea
I just know Bama was the 1st team to offer him in HS per what was quoted...that was the main reason for posting that article

This is like a cripple fight. Does anyone truly win? Y'all move on, who cares who offered first.

You said Bama had a big lead at the time of that article. But from the article that doesn't seem to be the case.

Thanks for the article, breh.

It doesn't matter what happened then. It was all the same last time and he still chose Auburn. Come NSD he will likely see Auburn losing their top 2 rushers and no clear #1 back for the next season. While Bama will likely have a clear #1 back, DH, and be crowded at RB. Plus he has been at Auburn and already knows the school.

He's going to go to auburn.

Agree there

Not true...he had a lot of schools pull offers or ignore him after grade issues surfaced. He couldn't choose Bama back then because he didn't have an offer.
I agree with the rest...I know CAP is a Sr right? Is C. grant a Sr as well this yr? And AU has Roc as well
