Who is more badass? Movie characters only.

I suggest you spell Dalton's name correctly.

Not close (though I like Russell).

I can't believe you asked this. The answer is Swayze.
I hope you overdose on Tylenol III.

Patrick Swayze was not attractive. He was weird and gross.
I'll take Kurt Russell.

Kurt Russell
Too short to take seriously as a badass

Patrick Swayze
Terrible actor to be taken seriously as a badass.
What about Jason Statham vs daniel Craig?

Patrick Swayze's most badass roles were in Road House and Point Break
Neither role can compete with the badassery of Kurt Russell's Wyatt Earp
He could really win this on mustache alone, but if you read about the making of Tombstone Kurt Russell put most of the production on his back and directed a lot of the film.

After perusing this thread, the answer is clear.
The results were pretty close but Russell wins because of Captain Ron. He really displayed his range in that film.

They all thought Snake Plissken was dead. So, I'm gonna go with Kurt Russell

This is a tough one. Wyatt Earp, Lt Cash, Snake, and Jack Burton from Big trouble in little china were solid roles for Russell, but, I have to give the nod to Swayze. Dalton and Bodie alone are some of my all time favorite characters in any movie.

Not even close. Totally Kurt Russell.
Think:
Snake Plissken - Escape from L.A. & NY
Jack Burton - Big Trouble in Little China
Captain Ron - Captain Ron
The Commander - Sky High (my son made me watch)
Stuntman Mike - Grind house/Death Proof
Bad arse Soldier - Soldier
And finally my favorite Wyatt "MF" Earp in Tombstone. Killed the whole Cowboys band and got the girl.
Although I will give a shout out to Swayze for his role in "Road House". I almost named my son Dalton.
What killed it for Swayze? Dirty Dancing
