That is AU's football identity and history. Without dramatic wins over Bama AU would have little to identify it's football history.

So we can expect Auburn to field a terrible team 2 out of 3 years? Sounds good to me. With that thinking can't wait to see Auburn next year
All kidding aside, all of the sec teams blew the streak. LSU lost to Ole Miss and got beat silly by Bama, Bama lost to AU, UF lost to e'erybody, and Auburn lost to FSU.
The playoff streak begins next year

Before an all time great CFB coach came to Bama, AU was about to even the series with the domination of the nearly three decades previous.
Even so, Saban is only like 4-3 against AU when we have fired two coaches for fielding poor AU teams. Id say Bama should be doing better. LSU and UGA are both doing better I believe
