And so now, we have 9 people who are going to smoke ribs and blog about it here........for the chance to be Dawgrant Rib-off Grand Champion or something like that.

I want to be clear, when i said best in athens i was talking about butt, in a different thread than my rib thread.

And thanks for the update and it's too bad DGD wont stickie this thread.

It kinda goes with the theme I was talking about in the other piece which gatorhata9 zapped.

You're looking at it the wrong way, imo.

Each minute that our thread stays at the top of the board on it's own merit......with more pages than those with an unearned welfare-sticky........their system of unnatural busy-body admin-intervention is mocked and ridiculed.

This is a quality thread and brings in a real sense of continuity in here even the CP-guild would enjoy but, like the Amish they shun anything not self generated.

Surprised they haven't stolen the thread topic and generated on of their own at this point.

Sure man just wrapping up a few more things and will be calling this weeks work done.

Looking forward to some good basketball and maybe a little fishing in between games.

March Madness is pretty cool time, I guess I will cut the chowder puff girls and their milk toast clown friend some slack because it's all about some BB from here on out.

This is one of my favorite BBQ cooking websites. Very comprehensive and has a lot of good tips. Maybe you'll see a thing or two to help you make the best ribs. LINK

Jalapeño ribs with the black-eyed pea caviar sauce is what you're cooking up?

I made a trial run this Sunday where we finally had some decent weather to work on consistency in temperature throughout the smoking process. The ribs were very traditional but I also tried a blend of different woods. Turned out tender.
