Bama has quite a few who may start or at least break in the two deep. As follows:

Rashaan Evans
Ty Flournoy-Smith
Marlon Humphrey
Tony Brown
Da'Shawn Hand
Cameron Robinson

All of the above are five stars with the exception of Flournoy-Smith the TE.

And let's not forget JC transfer Dominick Jackson who is a five star LT, transfer Jarron Reed is four star and huge NG and of course we welcome back DE DJ Pettway who should start of see the field a ton.

What about your school?

lately LSU has been playing a lot of freshmen - but which will come in and contribute immediately is more of a question.

Just guesses obviously:

Leonard Fournette
Ed Paris
Jamal Adams
Malachi Dupre
Trey Quinn
Clifton Garrett
Devin Voorhies

how much time on the field is also an open question.

Speedy Noil will be the SEC offensive freshman of the year.

Myles Garrett will be the SEC defensive freshman of the year.

If any of these start for bama next year, then they have fallen more than anybody could imagine. The only one close to being physically able to compete in the SEC would be Robinson. Both Humphrey's and Brown are track athletes who play football at this time.

Per your criteria, Flournoy-Smith does not fit. He is a JUCO transfer after being asked to leave UGA's football team.

For UGA's team, I'd say Malkolm Parrish(CB/S) and Isaiah Wynn (OG).

We won't have any start except maybe Logan Cooke at punter/pk.

Jamoral Graham likely 2nd team slot assuming grades.
Aeris Williams will get snaps at RB -- how many is anyone's guess.
Cory Thomas will likely play some at DT/DE depending on how we line up.
Probably have one more earn time on special teams or somewhere on the field.

Good chance the rest of our incoming freshmen redshirt. We just bring back damn near everyone and have built some nice depth over time...

I doubt he plays a down. Dude was ranked high because of other-worldly potential. He's not ready for college football yet - at any level. Give him two years. If he develops his athleticism he'll be a high first round draft choice. But he'd be a huge liability now.

If "starter minutes" mean basically 1a 1b, then these are the candidates:

Leonard Fournette

If "starter minutes" means a lot of play time then;

Leonard Fournette
Jamal Adams
Ed Paris
Clifton Garrett

Now Quinn and Dupre could play a lot, but they could just as well only play a little. The four I listed above will definitely play a lot.
