Nothing to see here. Got yo have a coach under contract for 4 yrs due to recruiting.

He is their most successful coach since Darrell Royal was briefly HC in the 50s. They should be giving him some security.

Coach Merlins is the Bert of the Big 10. He can beat the bad teams, but not the good teams.

I don't see an issue with that. Like SC, MSU's history shouldn't allow them to be too picky or too demanding of coaches. Mullen has them in a relatively good position and he deserves some more time to see where he can get them.

Hell Spurrier didn't get any real success going until 2010 in his 6th season.

He's a good coach and apparently happy where he is. He probably enjoys not having a such a high pressure job.

Dan is almost equivalent to how Stansbury was in hoops. Under-performing with nice talent, but still about as good as it can get at State.
